Adrián returns in winter to Saskatchewan (Canada) to connect with his partner, Maddy's, past. During the trip he  portrays Maddy's family and surroundings, representing the harshness of winter that freezes everyday life in time. The resulting photographs are the manifestation of a long-distance relationship with the life of his partner. A love letter to his environment and to the "chiaroscuros"  that condition her personality and way of functioning in the world.
